Grab your partner, grab your besties and join us for our monthly Clay & Sip event, held at our brand new Currumbin Waters studio. Live music, BYO bevies, and a whole lotta clay play. Trust us, you won't want to miss this one.
To kick things off, we'll show you three different hand-building techniques. Once you've got those under your belt, you'll be able to kick back, relax, enjoy the tunes and let those creative juices flow.
Thinking you'd like to make a vase? Go for it! Maybe a pair of mugs for you and your bestie? We've got your back. Whatever you'd like to make, we'll be there to help you along the way. And don't worry, if you're stumped for ideas, we have a heap of different examples to get those creative juices flowing.
Evening Timeline:
6:00-6:15pm: Arrival
6:30-8:30pm: 2-Hours Clay Tuition
8:30-9pm: Clean-Up
What to bring? Just yourself and your bevies. All of our Clay & Sip pottery classes are BYO. We have glassware available, as well as still and sparkling water on tap. Other than that, we just ask that you arrive a few minutes early, wear clothes you won't mind getting a little muddy, and leave any valuable jewellery (rings, watches) at home.
What's Included? Live music, grazing boards, plus all clay, tools, glazing, and firing are included in the cost of the class. After the workshop, our skilled studio staff will fire and glaze your vessels in our house white glaze.
Pick Up & Delivery It will take us about 4-5 weeks to fire and glaze your work. You'll receive an email from us as soon as your pieces are ready to collect. If you're from out of town, shipping can be arranged.
Cancellations All tickets are non-refundable. You can reschedule up to 48 hours before your class, otherwise, you will incur a $50 cancellation fee. The best way to let us know if you can't make your class is to text us at +61 412 157 657.
