Crockd's Policies
Cancellation, Reschedule & Refund Policy
Hey, we get it - things pop up. Here’s what you need to know if plans change.
Ps, we have a no refunds or returns policy for our at-home kits, or supplies. Unless they are faulty. See below for our pottery classes and courses!
Class Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancelling or rescheduling a class means cancelling your original booking and rebooking using a Crockd Class Credit.
Same rules apply to both. Here’s how it works 👇
Cancel or reschedule 7+ days before your class
– Full refund to your original payment method. Easy.
Cancel or reschedule within 7 days of your class
– 100% Crockd Class Credit to use on a future class.
Cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your class
– No refund or credit. At this point, we’ve locked in staff, materials, and kiln schedules.
Important note on credits:
Any Crockd Class Credit issued will be for the exact amount originally paid for the class. If your class was purchased on sale or with a promo, the credit value will match that sale amount. Crockd Class Credits cannot be increased to match full-price classes if the original booking was purchased at a discounted rate.
Changing your date?
If you need to move your class, we’ll issue a Crockd Class Credit for the amount eligible under the timeframes above, so you can jump online and book the new date and time that suits you.
Course Cancellations & Rescheduling
Our courses are a vibe — but they do require commitment. When you book a course, you’re locking in a spot across multiple sessions, so it’s important to choose dates that work for the full run.
Cancelling or rescheduling a course means cancelling your original booking and rebooking using a Crockd Course Credit.
The same rules apply to both.
Cancel or reschedule 7+ days before the first session
– Full refund to your original payment method.
Cancel or reschedule within 7 days of the first session
– 100% Crockd Course Credit for the amount originally paid.
Cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of the first session
– No refund or credit.
Once the course has started
– No refunds or credits. No exceptions.
Important note on credits:
Any Crockd Course Credit issued will be for the exact amount originally paid.
If your course was purchased during a sale or with a promo, the credit value will match that discounted amount.
Changing your dates mid-course
We’re unable to move or split individual sessions within a course.
If you can’t attend partway through, the course is considered started and normal cancellation terms apply.
Missed a session?
Make-up sessions may be available, subject to availability. We’ll always try to help where we can, but make-ups aren’t guaranteed.
Best plan: book a course that works with your schedule from start to finish.
Private Events
- Cancel 2+ weeks before the event: Full refund—we’ll miss you, but no hard feelings.
- Cancel within 2 weeks: No refund or credit, but you can reschedule with a 30% late rescheduling fee based on your original booking price.
Last minute changes? No worries—we’ll do our best to roll with it. If you need to adjust the number of attendees and it’s less than two weeks’ notice, we’ll offer a credit. But heads up: no-shows on the day won’t be eligible for a credit or refund. Just let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can shuffle things around and keep everything running smoothly.
A Note on Pottery & Breakages
Pottery is a handmade process — and like any good creative adventure, things don’t always go to plan. From kiln quirks to clay behaving badly, unexpected mishaps can happen at any stage. By booking a class or course with us, you acknowledge this risk and agree that Crockd does not offer refunds or credits for lost or damaged pottery.
Daylight Saving
Heads up! Our Kingscliff and Currumbin Waters studios are on either side of the NSW/QLD border, which means daylight saving time can sneak up on you. If you’re crossing the border for your class, it’s your responsibility to double-check the time difference and plan accordingly.
We know it’s easy to forget, but arriving late can cut into your pottery time. Please take a moment to review our Late Arrivals Policy below so you know what to expect if you’re running behind.
Remember, we kick off on time to make sure everyone has enough time to complete their project—so set those reminders, check your clocks, and we’ll see you right on time.
Running Late? Here’s What You Need to Know
We ask all customers to arrive 10 minutes early so everyone has time to settle in before we kick off class on time. Starting promptly helps ensure there’s enough time to complete your project without feeling rushed.
If you’re running behind, no stress—we’ll do our best to catch you up, but here’s what to expect:
- Catch-Up Time: Once you arrive, we’ll help you get up to speed without disrupting the rest of the group. Please note that if you miss key parts of the demo, it may impact what you can complete during class.
- Adjusted Expectations: You might not finish everything planned for the session, but we’ll make sure you still have a great experience.
🚨 Arriving More Than 30 Minutes Late?
If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate you. At that point, the class will be too far along, and it wouldn’t be the best experience for you—or for the other students who arrived on time. Entry is at the teacher’s discretion.
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we can’t offer refunds or free reschedules for late arrivals. Our advice? Try to make it on time so you can enjoy the full experience and walk away with a creation you’re proud of!
No Shows
If you miss your session, we can’t offer a refund or credit. Pro tip: Set that reminder, so you don’t miss out on the fun.
Collecting Your Pottery
Your clay masterpiece is waiting! You’ll have two weeks to collect your pottery once we’ve contacted you to let you know it’s ready. Can’t make it in time? No worries—just let us know, and we’ll hold it a little longer or arrange shipping (for an extra fee).
If we don’t hear from you after two weeks, we’ll assume you’ve moved on, and your piece may be recycled or repurposed.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are a solid win—perfect for gifting creativity. Just a heads-up: they’re non-refundable and can’t be exchanged for cash or credit.
Discounted Gift Cards
Gift Cards purchased during a promotion or sale (including Black Friday Cyber Monday) can not be redeemed on sale items, they can only be used on Full Priced products, experiences, courses, and other store items. Discounted Gift Cards also can not be redeemed on private events.
