Have you always wanted to learn how to throw on the wheel? If so, our 6-week beginner wheel throwing course is the perfect place to start. 

What will I learn?

During this six-week beginner pottery course, you will learn:

- The ceramic process
- How to wedge and recycle your clay
- The foundations of wheel throwing, including how to throw, trim and glaze your work
- How to make make and attached handles

What will I make?

Over the course of the six weeks, you'll make anywhere between 5 and 10 vessels, including a mix of cups, bowls and mugs.

Please note, the cost of the course includes the use of equipment during session times, clay, and firing.

It's important to choose a time slot that suits your schedule across the six-week period. We do not offer make-up sessions or allow swapping of days.

After you have completed this course, you will then have the opportunity to apply for our membership program, which will allow you to return to the studio on a weekly basis and continue to create. Please note, spaces are limited. 

We require a minimum of three bookings in order to run this course. If we do not meet this minimum, we may cancel the course at any time and offer you a full refund or a credit to attend a course of the same value in the future.

You won't need to bring anything with you, but please wear comfortable clothes & shoes, have short nails, and remove all valuable jewellery.
