An 8-week pottery club for homeschool kids who like to learn by doing. Across 90-minute sessions, they’ll try the wheel, hand-building and painting, with guidance when they need it and freedom when they don’t. Expect proud faces, muddy hands, and lots of “mum, look what I made.”

🤫 What They'll Get Up To Each Week

Each session starts with a quick demo, then kids jump straight into making.

Some weeks they’ll be pinching, coiling, or slab-building. Other weeks they’ll hop on the wheel or add colour with glaze. There are suggested projects to get them started, but what they make is always up to them.

Some kids stick with one idea for weeks. Others try something new every session. Both are welcome. The goal is confidence, creativity, and getting comfortable working with clay in their own way.

Every week looks a little different, and that’s exactly how it’s meant to be.

💁 The Fine Print

This is a drop-off course for ages 7+.
Clay can crack, warp, or break during firing. It happens. Pieces aren’t replaced.
Make-up sessions aren’t guaranteed. Best plan is choosing dates that work for you.
Final pieces are usually ready within two weeks of the last session. We’ll message when they’re ready to collect.

Our hosts are great with kids and even better with clay. They keep things fun, safe, and encouraging, while helping each kid have a go and feel proud of what they make.

How It Works

Step 1: Weekly Pottery, Sorted

Lock in an 8-week course and give your kid a regular creative outlet. Same day, same time, no weekly decision-making require

Step 2: Clay Time

They arrive, roll up their sleeves, and get stuck into clay. Some weeks it’s the wheel, some weeks it’s hand-building or painting. We guide, they explore.

Step 3: Proud Pick-Ups

We fire their pieces along the way. You pick up real, usable pottery and a kid who can’t wait to tell you how they made it.

Important deets!

Nope. This course is designed for beginners. If they’ve never touched clay before, they’re in the right place.

Ages 7+. If they can follow basic instructions and enjoy making things, they’ll be sweet.

Just a water bottle. We’ve got the clay, tools, aprons, and everything else covered.

Comfy clothes they can get dusty in and closed-toe shoes. Clay generally washes out, but let’s not risk the favourite outfit.

There are suggested projects each week, but kids are free to follow their own ideas.

Some stick with one piece for weeks. Others try something new every session. Both are encouraged.

Pieces are fired along the way as they’re finished. After the course wraps up, allow around two weeks for everything to be ready for pickup. We’ll message you when it’s good to go.

We’ll help where we can, but make-up sessions aren’t guaranteed.
