Beginner Wheel Throwing Course: Level 2 (6-Weeks)
Have you recently completed a beginner wheel throwing course but are looking to reinforce what you've learned and take your skills to the next level? If so, our Level 2 course has been designed for you.
What will I learn?
During this six-week beginner pottery course, we will focus on:
- Reinforcing fundamentals and correcting bad habits
- Throwing larger vessels, as well as different forms such as plates and shallow bowls
- Learning how to shape using different ribs
- Recycling & reclaiming your clay scraps
- How to pull and attach handles
- Glazing
What will I make?
Over the course of the six weeks, you'll make anywhere between 5 and 12 vessels, including a mix of plates, cups, bowls, bottles and mugs.

Please note, the cost of the course includes the use of equipment during session times, clay, and firing.
It's important to choose a time slot that suits your schedule across the six-week period. We do not offer make-up sessions or allow swapping of days.
After you have completed this course, you will then have the opportunity to apply for our membership program, which will allow you to return to the studio on a weekly basis and continue to create. Please note, spaces are limited.
We require a minimum of three bookings in order to run this course. If we do not meet this minimum, we may cancel the course at any time and offer you a full refund or a credit to attend a course of the same value in the future.
You won't need to bring anything with you, but please wear comfortable clothes & shoes, have short nails, and remove all valuable jewellery.
