The Dirty Details

Give your kid a school holiday story that isn’t “I was bored.” In this 2-hour hybrid pottery class for ages 7+, they’ll spend an hour learning how to throw on the wheel and another hour hand-building whatever their imagination cooks up — mugs, monsters, pinch pots, the lot.

Unlimited clay, friendly hosts, aprons included, and zero experience needed. You get a breather; they get pottery pride.

Kids dive into two creative worlds:

  • Wheel Throwing: learning how to centre, shape, and pull a simple form.
  • Hand-Building: pinch-potting, joining, sculpting, and freestyling fun pieces.

They wrap up the session with a cute take-home box filled with their creations — ready to air-dry at home and decorate with acrylics, or bring back for a Paint-a-Pot session if they want a kiln-fired, water-tight finish.
