A few little things to know before you dive in:
- Pottery is beautifully unpredictable.
Kilns get hot (like… really hot), and sometimes pieces warp, crack or fire a little differently than expected. That’s the nature of handmade — and honestly, part of the charm. - We’re not responsible for breakages in transit or during firing.
We handle every piece with care, but ceramics can be fragile. If something chips, cracks or breaks, we’ll be sad with you… but we can’t guarantee replacement. - Colours may change slightly after firing.
Underglaze looks chalky before firing — the kiln transforms it. Expect a glow-up, but exact shades may vary. - Be gentle when transporting your piece.
Handle with two hands, tuck it safely, maybe whisper a little “please don’t break.” - Firing timelines can shift.
Kiln cycles depend on studio load, so firing may take a bit longer during busy weeks. - Once fired, your piece is food-safe — but not invincible.
Treat it like a handmade piece: wash with love and don’t microwave it into oblivion.
